INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE THE INSERTION OF YOUR HAIR EXTENSION

important to know

In order for your hair extension to be attached properly and last for a long time during the period of use, you as a customer should follow the instructions below carefully.

In order for the extension to attach properly to your hair, your hair must be clean and free of sebum and residues from hair products. The hair extension cannot be inserted on hair that is oily or that contains product residues, as the attachments risk slipping off after a short time.

Your hair must therefore be freshly washed and it should be washed the same day you get your hair extension, not the day before.

Follow these instructions:

Shampoo your hair 2 times and leave the shampoo on for minutes each time before rinsing off.

It is important that you shampoo your hair thoroughly, be extra careful with your scalp as this is the area where your hair extensions will be attached. Therefore, try to rub the shampoo thoroughly into both your hair and scalp when you wash it, and then rinse your hair thoroughly.

When you're done, your hair should feel absolutely clean and dry

Note! Do not use shampoos that contain emollient oils, such as argan oil, or silk-enhancing additives such as silicones or keratin complexes, etc., because they leave a thin coating of the substances on the hair that prevents the hair extensions from attaching properly. Instead, use a regular household shampoo, or rather a regular liquid hand soap, preferably of a transparent variety (not a creamy version).

You must also not use conditioner or other hair products after shampooing your hair.

It is fine to blow dry/flatten your hair straight afterwards.

The instructions only apply before the insertion of your hair extension; after that, you can start using milder shampoos, conditioners and other hair products again according to our care instructions.

However, remember to not wetting your hair for 24 hours if you applied keratin extensions or 48 hours if you applied tape extensions, as the attachments need time to harden.

Good luck!

Sincerely
